Woodwind Resources

This page is for woodwind players, and should be a resource for students.

All players should ensure their instruments are in good working order at all times. In addition, the following items are necessary for each instrument (please note - links are only suggestions, and not meant to endorse any particular company or product):

Lesson Materials (Books specifically)

Please Do Not purchase a lesson book ahead of time. Mr. Blostein will let you know what lesson book to purchase once we have had a lesson or two.

Lesson Books vary with each lesson group. Advanced students will use the Rubank Advanced, Volume 1 book, and upon completion, comtinue to Volume 2. Less advanced students will use either the Rubank Elementary or Intermediate Method, or occassionally a different method
